Sexy Sadie is set in NYC in 1971, and follows a strong-willed woman named Sadie who has the sensibilities of an artist without the talent (or really, the support). Pushed by her overbearing family, she's thrust into a nuclear family with a musician, Ian. Years later, she must confront the true reason for her unhappiness or continue destroying herself and everyone around her.
